Show Notes
There a number of styles of Yoga. Be sure to do some research and find what works for you.
There is Yoga for mindfulness, Yoga for a workout, Yoga with music and Yoga without.
There is Yoga that focuses on the energy centers (Chakras) and Kenya has found that really helpful in learning to be more present and understanding, especially with her children.
She has learned how to be more mindful of her thoughts which in turn, has helped her to teach her kids that, too.
Once we 'get it', we can help our kids with mindfulness and recognizing that there are always consequences (positive or negative) to our actions.
When we are more mindful, we can see that we have both choice and responsibility. This always applies to ourselves and to our children.
