About Crystal

Crystal is parent coach for moms and Canadian homeschooling mama of 4. She merges positive parenting concepts with life coaching tools to help parents manage difficult behaviors in their children, without time-outs, yelling or threats.

Show Notes

Crystal helps mom with positive parenting and loves to help parents of children who are  neurodivergent or whose behaviors are challenging. 'Neurodivergent' is a term that describes children who have learning differences including Autism, ADD, ADHD, ODD, OCD, etc...

Our expectations of our children can lead to our frustration.

When we can show up with more curiosity we can be more compassionate toward our children.

There can be more than 'one story' behind our child's behavior.

There are 4 areas that impact our kids and their behavior:

  1. Food & Water
  2. Connection with us
  3. Screen time
  4. Movement

Crystal recommends a 'screen reset' to help your family identify and reduce the addiction to screens. Start with yourself and see how your screen habits are effecting you.

Our kids cannot self regulate when they are young. It's up to us to help them manage their screen time.
