We create an identity for ourselves when we are about 2 years old. We think of it as The Ego.
Our Ego helps to keep us safe but it is not actually us.
When we recognize that our ego is NOT us, if we are willing to pay attention and become aware, the ego can become the servant, not the master (your True Self can be the Master).
Your True Self is already there. It gives you access to peace, clarity, freedom, happiness, and love.
As our True Self, we can be in our life creating from our peace and clarity.
We no longer have to find our worthiness through our accomplishments (per The Ego).
The work is waking up to our true self. It's a gradual process of learning to see through the illusion of self we’ve created. Dr. Fred calls these moments 'glimpses'.
To begin, slow down. Notice your feelings. Get more clarity about the feelings you have.
Your True Self isn’t mystical. It’s who you are.
